Driving Directions:

Buffalo to Toronto: Cross the border and take QEW (Queen Elizabeth Way) north. The QEW goes around the western tip of Lake Ontario (Hamilton) and then heads east to Toronto. Half way between Hamilton & Toronto, the freeway goes through the town of Oakville. It's also where the cut-off for Highway 403 is. Take Highway 403 to Highway 401. Then take Highway 400 north to Barrie.

Windsor To Toronto: Take Hwy 401 all the way to Toronto and then head north to Barrie on Highway 400.

Toronto to Lake Onaping: Take Highway 400 north to the city of Barrie. Just past Barrie, the 400 splits into two Highways. Take Highway 69 north to Sudbury. When you reach Sudbury, turn left and go west on Highway 17 (Trans Canada Highway). Drive to the town of Chelmsford and turn left on Highway 144 and head north. Drive north for 45 minutes on highway 144. The last town before the cut-off is Cartier. After Cartier, turn right on Lake Onaping Road. Drive 3 miles on hard-top road to the lodge.

Sault Ste. Marie to Lake Onaping: Take Highway 17 (Trans Canada Highway) east to highway 144. Drive north for 45 minutes on highway 144. The last town before the cut-off is Cartier. After Cartier, turn right on Lake Onaping Road. Drive 3 miles on hard-top road to the lodge.
